posted Mar 9, 2017, 8:37 AM by Philip Roth   [ updated Mar 9, 2017, 12:35 PM ]

Region 390 will hold tryouts for a U10B EXTRA team and a U10G EXTRA team on Saturday, 3/11, at 4pm at LaSalle fields.  As its name suggests, players who make one of these teams will practice and play games *in addition to* their core AYSO team.  To be eligible to make the team, players must be registered for the Spring 2017 season on an Oak Ridge AYSO Region 390 U10B or U10G team.  Players will be evaluated on their technical skills and tactical awareness, and should expect to participate in several 20-minute long, game-like situations.  Interested players should be at LaSalle fields by 3:45 to check in, dressed as they would for a practice (AYSO jerseys not required, but shin guards with socks covering them are required) with water.  We expect to be done by 6:30.  Watch http://www.aysoregion390.org for weather-related changes to the schedule.
