Hey coach - did you know AYSO requires coaches to hold a coach certification appropriate for their team's age division?  And that both head coaches and assistant coaches must be certified?  To help you get the needed certification, Region 390 will host AYSO Coach Certification training for U6, U8, U10, and U12 levels on Saturday, August 16, at First United Presbyterian Church in Oak Ridge.  U6, U8, and U10 are 8am to noon (but you are welcome to stay longer) and U12 is scheduled 8am to 2pm. There is no cost to you.  Light breakfast, snacks, and lunch will be provided.  Wear clothes for field play and bring soccer shoes.

Already have the appropriate certification for your age division?  Come and get certified for the next level up, or use the course as a refresher.  Share and steal some ideas-that's what great coaches do.

To participate:
* Register online at www.eayso.org.  After logging in, go to the Course Signup tab at the top of the page.  Search by roster number and select the course level you need.
  * U6 is Roster number 201403985
  * U8 is Roster number 201403986
  * U10 is Roster number 201403987
  * U12 is Roster number 201403988

* Take the classroom portion of your course online before Saturday's training to get the certification.  To do this: Go to https://www.aysotraining.org/Default.asp   You’ll need your volunteer number (from eayso) to access the course content.  U12 coaches should take the U10 online course and we’ll cover the unique U12 portion in the class. We will review course material, but emphasis will be on practical coaching and field sessions.
