For U19 (Div 1) - U8 (Div 6) most games will be played on Saturdays, and occasionally on Sundays. U6 (Div 7) games will be played during the last half of practice. Fields See Fields Tab. The Game & Weather General soccer game policy is that the game will be played "rain or shine". Games will not be cancelled because of rain, wind, wet or muddy fields unless such weather results in a hazardous condition. Lightning in the vicinity is reason for immediate suspension of the game and clearing of the field. Inclement weather may necessitate the canceling of games from time to time. Any such cancellation will be made at the discretion of the Regional Commissioner, Safety Director or Fields Director. Cancellation should be made as early as practicable before game time. Any one of the three people listed above may call the game(s) and MAY NOT be overridden in that decision. On game days, information about general cancellation of games will be available on the AYSO Hotline (482-R390) by 7:30am. The only person authorized to cancel a game on the field is the referee scheduled for that game. This will only be done on an individual basis after personal inspection of the field. |
